Data deletion instructions

How to ask MARKETIA to delete the data associated with your Facebook, Instagram, Threads, WhatsApp or TikTok account.

Last updated: September 28, 2026.

There are several ways and they all lead to the same place. No form or account is needed. This page complements the instructions published inside MARKETIA (in Spanish), where you can also check the status of a request made from Facebook.

1. From Facebook or Instagram

  1. On Facebook, go to Settings and privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
  2. Find MARKETIA and click Remove.
  3. If Facebook offers it, also select the option to request deletion of your data.

Facebook notifies us automatically: we immediately disconnect the Pages, Instagram accounts and ad accounts you connected. If you request deletion, we delete the access you gave us (tokens), your Facebook ID and permission data, and Facebook shows you a confirmation code you can use to check the status on MARKETIA's status page.

2. From Threads

In Threads settings (or Meta Accounts Center), open the apps and websites section, find MARKETIA and remove access. Threads notifies us and we disconnect the account. If you request deletion, we delete its tokens and data.

3. From TikTok

  1. In the TikTok app: Profile → Menu → Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions, and remove MARKETIA. If you connected an ad account, you can also remove the authorization in TikTok for Business.
  2. TikTok notifies us instantly (authorization.removed): the account is revoked and we stop reading and sending anything.
  3. To also have everything received from that account deleted, email us (option 4). When the business disconnects it from MARKETIA, access is revoked on TikTok and the account, its tokens and dependent data are deleted.

4. By email (any platform, including WhatsApp)

Email developer@cerebria.co (or developer@cerebria.co) with the subject "Delete my data" and tell us which account or number you used (the same username or phone number you used with the business). If we need to confirm your identity before deleting, we will write to you.

If you are a business using MARKETIA

  • You can disconnect any account in MARKETIA → Connections. Disconnecting an ad account deletes its data.
  • You can request full deletion of your organization; everything it owns is deleted.
  • When the service ends you can request a copy of your data for 30 days; after that it is deleted.

What is deleted and what is not

  • Your messages and conversation data in the business's inbox.
  • Your contact record: name, phone and platform identifiers.
  • Your comments collected from the business's posts.
  • Access tokens and permission data for the accounts you connected.

What is not deleted: data the business is legally required to keep (for example, invoices for an order already delivered) and advertising metrics, which are aggregated figures that identify no one. Removing MARKETIA from Facebook disconnects it, but does not by itself delete conversations already in a business's inbox: for that, use the email option.

Timeframe and request status

The request is recorded immediately and completed within 30 days at most. If it came from Facebook, check its status (received, in progress, completed or rejected) with the confirmation code on MARKETIA's status page. More information in the privacy policy.
